In order to work for IATSE Local 17 Stage Employees you must meet the following criteria:
 
                       Must be at least 18 years of age
​                       Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical ability
                       Must be willing to learn a new craft if you have no background in this industry

All employees of IATSE Local 17 must have the following tools:

The Extra List for the Louisville Stage Employees Local 17

What is the Extra List?

Louisville Stage Employees Local 17 does not employ workers.  Instead, it refers labor for to our partner venues in the Louisville, Frankfort, Danville KY region.  Any referrals who meet the above criteria and complete the application paperwork will be eligible to join the Extra or E list gaining the opportunity to be referred to work.

How often will I get referred to jobs?

- Labor needs fluctuate daily, and all work is on a per-job basis.  Your referrals depend greatly on your own personal availability with flexibility being extremely important.
 
How do I apply?

-You will need to fill out an application to be on the Extras List by calling or going down to the IATSE 17 Union Hall.  
Hours of operation are:
Monday - Friday
9:00 am - 4:00 pm closed on all major holidays
